The European Parliament Elections 2019 were just around the corner when I was asked to design a campaign for a candidate of the Centre Party of Finland. Working on a political campaign was a bit of new ground for me, but I went about it in a familiar way – by studying the audience and drawing upon their real lives, needs and concerns. The team and I made use of both the traditional and digital media to reach different voter groups across the country. Beyond that, we also made an effort to reach Finnish citizens living abroad. I am fond of projects that open up new realms and inspire me to learn, and this was definitely one of them!
